about me (written 2010.04.28)
My name is Heather. It's kind of a boring name and I never liked it growing up (because everyone was named Heather) but I don't mind it anymore, though Japanese people cannot pronounce it. My lj name comes from the name my Chinese teacher gave me in grade 4, 麦爱德, and I know that most people can't pronounce it either. I think about changing it sometimes, but I can't come up with anything better and don't want to spend the $15.

I'm 25 (omg) and have been working in Japan for nearly 3 years. Went to university in Vancouver, Canada and lived in Singapore for 10 years sometime before that. You could say I get around. I'll be going back to university in the fall to do my Bachelor's in Education. I'll be in your classroom, teaching your kids one day.

More info (though kind of dated) here!

» Cooking and then taking food porn pictures.
» Eating.
» Sex podcasts. I'm more knowledgable than I have a right to be.
» Traveling alone.

That's all for now. I might add more if I can think of anything.

OOhhh It took me a while to figure out what you meant by "single-sex" education. I guess that's the opposide of co-ed?
