Is the weirdest, most disturbingly fucked up movie I have seen in a long time.  And reflects all to well Japanese society, I think. 

Maybe that wasn't the best choice to watch before going to bed.

Likely not, though I have yet to see it.
I really should, but I'll take a tip off of you and watch it on a sunny afternoon. Asian films can have that effect on you, even in general.

Even with the tiny bit of that movie that I saw, I agree with you. It's a good thing I haven't seen it all yet. I'm going to have to be in a really sad mood to able to watch that type of movie. D:
