Life is great when you have a fantastic hat.
Or two! Went shopping with Benben and Andy in Harajuku today. Andrew had a list about as long as my arm of shit he wanted to buy and Ben was looking for some shirts. I was still on the hunt for hats, green cons, and maybe some sunglasses. I didn't recall the cons being so expensive, but apparently the green ones I want are 5000 yen. I need to check the ABC mart in Kashiwa; all of the places I've been to don't have my size! I have started to realize how much I hate crowds. Or maybe I hate shopping. I was getting tired and cranky after only 3 hours or so and even coffee didn't help much. When I have an idea of what I'm looking for in my head, nothing else interests me. We went in a million shops (although most of them were only guys clothes) but nothing caught my eye. The pitfall of Harajuku is all the stores have almost exactly the same stuff. So it gets really tedius, especially with Andrew the stingy bastard dragging you around. He spent oodles of money and still didn't get everything he wanted. We called it a night and went back to their place and rented Back to the Future. Came home.. and its nearly 2am already. I was ready to pass out at 9 but I'm doing alright now. Not doing myself any favours but meh. There's some stuff I want to do before bed: do some reading, organize the crap off my desktop and search for this Vancouver Sun article about self-training for a 10K. I am seriously going to start running again. I know you're supposed to start easy and do 2 mins run, 1 min rest or something to start with but I need the times. And then I'm going to make a running mix that has music with correctly timed intervals so I can do it properly since I don't have a stopwatch.
Fantastic hat 1. I got a plain white one after seeing Ohno's in the Freestyle extra from his Tensei Kupuu DVD. I'm going to make my own simple design on it when I get some fabric pens. I've also decided to design some t-shirts for Andrew's X'mas present. It'll be practice.
Fantastic hat 2. Simple and colourful. :) I wanted something like Sho's union jack cap or something distressed/deconstructed but I couldn't find anything I liked. This washed-out plaid is all the rage over here right now and I like it better on a cap than on a shirt, although I do want one of those too.
Random buy of the day: Shige button! I got this for 300 yen because I could and because he's hot. XD No, after you.
This Foxytunes plugin I got fucking blows. It makes writing entries a fucking pain in the ass (it keeps moving it to the top when I scroll down D<) and it doesn't even work with iTunes. Fuck that shit. I've also decided after I come back from Osaka and get paid next month, I'm going to get my hair permed. Or see about getting my hair permed, at least. They told Nikki they c/wouldn't do a straight perm for her because her hair is too died. I think mine should be alright. I really want more volume and something more interesting than just straight. I'm going to splurge and have a new look for the fall semester. :3

You should be happy with your straight hair, missy! My curls suckkkkkk and I want them gone (everyone's like that, right? Like my mum has straight hair and she's pissed that her hair doesn't hold curls very well and I just wish I didn't look so much like ... Annie, or whatever. lsajdflkjd;f.)
