aideBecause I was sleeeeeeping. Man I feel like such a fucking old lady. I went to sleep at 9pm. Or maybe it was 930. Whatever. Holy fuck. I woke up at 6 but.. I've been doing that for the last few weeks. It's actually quite refreshing. And if I do fall back asleep, when I wake up again I don't have to rush around crazy.
I think grade 1 is officially my least favourite grade to teach. I actually got really pissed off in one class. It's always the same teacher who can't control her fucking kids. They had their coloured pencils out and Japan has this thing about tins for their pencils so the kids play with them because they make noise. And these two (actually four) boys in the front were banging their cases on their desks so I snatched it away from one of them. The other kid wouldn't give it up so the teacher took him aside and talked to him but he wasn't only slightly more behaved after that. I was this close to sending them into the corner like I used to do with my Nova class. Maybe I will next time. My contract says I'm not responsible for disciplining kids but I'll be damned if you're going to fuck off in my class when I'm trying to teach. It's one thing if I'm hoarse from yelling over them because their so excited but it's totally another if it's one or two kids being loud for the sake of being loud.
Went to the library after work and got the Tale of the Heike and a book about samurai. SO NERDY I LOVE IT. I'm trying to get back into the mindset for Equilibrium. After I finish![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)

I wonder if there's lunch served tomorrow. I forgot to check the schedule.
