Pure excitement!
Mar. 8th, 2008 05:32 pmMy Arashi calendar arrived from Tower Records. I just finished doing my accounting so I can open it! Exciting!
Went to Yellow last night with Amanda, Nikki, Sachiyo and Andrew. It was... alright. Better than last time, but I still wasn't floored with a fantastic experience. We met some random cool people (Mu-chan, a dancer and his friends Miyuki and Kousuke?, the biggest flamer ever) and saw this guy perform (Marc Evans) who was pretty good. I think I'll go searching for some of his stuff to download. Andrew and I bailed at 2:30, cabbing back to Odaiba. I have never been so lost or scared in my life. This cabbie was weaving in and out and around Roppongi and god knows where... I was almost getting nauseaus from the speed with which he took corners. I thought we were going to hit something. But we made it back alive and crashed around 4am maybe.
Andrew had filming today for Cool Japan, so I went home and cleaned. I thought about going for a run because it was warm and sunny but I got caught up in cleaning instead. I opened up the windows to get some fresh air in, aired my bedding and cleaned the floor. I feel productive!
I borrowed a book from Andrew which is going to be one of the best reads I'll get to in a while: Blow Him Away: How to give him mind-blowing oral sex. Oh yea. I fully intend on using it for reference while writing my new fic.
Mom did my taxes, but I have to send her the page with my signeture. 200 bucks! Sweet. I have to go to the bank at some point and wire my Nova money home. It's kind of dumb because I can still get access to hit through my RBC account in Japan, but I can pay off my Visa at least. But that can wait until Monday.
Arashi, here I come!
Edit: Instead of making a brand new post, I'll just edit this one. The calendar is amazing! Even Nino's hair looks half-decent and not like it's eating his face. There are lots of fun candids and them just being plain stupid. But looking hot at the same time. I liked the inspirational Engrish t-shirts: "Fantasy is more important than knowledge" (worn by Sho), "Chippendale Drop-out" (worn by Ohno). And a good portion of naked. My only beef is that it's pretty poorly bound. I can tell the pages are just going to fall out sooner rather than later. Make that a certainty - there goes pages with Nino and Aiba. :( It's like a notepad where you rip off the pages - just bound with one strip of sticky-glue-tape shit because it's made for ripping. The cookbook/photo diary is sweet. The recipes look pretty tasty. I'll have to decipher them and try a few. Same binding so I need to be careful with it. There's actually a fair bit of English in them, I'm suprised. Except for the interviews at the back - the stuff I'd want to read. Just gotta get on studying Japanese so I can! I'm torn about whether to actually USE the calendar or just keep it. Haha. Though if its going to fall apart from repeated opening/closing, maybe its best just to keep it looking pretty.
Arkjgsdfsd. Contacts must come out now. Eyes burning. As they would, wearing them for 24 hours straight. Though, usually they start bugging me after 8, so this is a pleasant surprise.
Now to learn about how to get mind-blowing head.
