Wasting away...
Aug. 14th, 2008 01:56 pmMet up with Tini and Steph yesterday and got me a 24hr TV t-shirt. :D It's pink and genki. I considered yellow, but it's a lot nicer looking in pictures and on TV. If it was more of a golden yellow, I would have but I don't really look good in yellow. Tutored Keigo afterwards -- he was really chatty yesterday! We read The Magic School Bus Gets Eaten (a book about food chains) together and then did a puzzle about fish and just talked about the summer holidays. When grandma came in with snacks, he said "Let's eat!" and ate right next to me. Usually he pulls out the drawers and uses them as his table, maybe because they are shorter? He just seemed a bit more mature after 2 weeks break. :)
Took some of Andrew's wondering pills before bed and slept 12 hours. Which is great, I don't feel tired -- yet -- but I have wasted half my day. The floor needs to be cleaned badly and I should wipe the bathroom down and tidy the piles of junk all over my place before Jenna comes tomorrow. It's already 2.... I'm watching men's gym individuals and there's a Canuck in the mix but they aren't showing him at all.
She didn't tell me her flight info but I guess she's coming through Vancouver? I don't even know. Or maybe San Fran again. It would be kind of pointless to check the airport website because I don't even know what to look for. She said she'd call me when she lands. Which could be anytime...
I have a feeling I had other plans today but I can't figure out what they were. I really want to get this next chapter written -- or a big chunk of it anyway. If I get the cleaning I need to do done then I can work on that. If I don't fall into the TV trap. There's the Olympics, 3 discs of CSI:M to watch, as well as Koizora and Hana Ikusa to watch...
I just feel like lying in bed and watching TV all day. :/ Although it won't take more than an hour, as I've learned. It's not like my old place in Vancouver that was a real house and took nearly half a day to clean. I just cleaned last week before I went to Osaka so it will just take a few wipes to clean. It's mostly the piles of junk plaguing me.
