aideWhy is it that anytime I find something from home in this fucking country the prices are jacked up to the high heavens?
I got me a bed frame! Went to Ikea after work (after ending up at freaking Disneyland by mistake >____< Damn Musashino dkfjadkfjadskf) and checked it out in person. I knew I wanted the cheapest but wanted to see how sturdy it was and holy hell it's heavy. Every other place (Aeon, Jusco, Bic Camera) does delivery for about $30. I was expecting as much from Ikea. Not 60$! It might have seemed worth it if I had gotten my 3 items but I didn't need anything else. But there was no way I could carry it on the train once Nikki went on her way. Even though I bought the cheapest one I could find, after all was said and done I still dropped $100 on the frame. Oh well. It's only a foot off the ground (at best) but at least it will be some kind of seating for my place and keep my futon off the ground. :3 I'm getting it delivered on Sunday. Pictures to come!
I'm still waiting for the delivery from 24hr TV.... strange. The first time it got shipped in a couple days. It's been more than a week. :/
At the beginning of the year, I asked if I could make English signs for all the rooms at school because there is hardly any English around my school and they should have those at least. The principal gave me the okay and said he would look into getting sign holders for the doors but I forgot about it and nothing happened. I finally asked for the laminator stuff (I LOVE LAMINATING!) and got it done today. :) I just hope the kids don't rip them off and cause shit. We don't have a huge problem with vandalism but there is always a few wise asses. I also found out that we have a dojo at school. I was going to make a sign for it... but the gymnasium sign was having trouble sticking to the door and it would look kind of dumb just to say "Dojo" on the sign. We also have a pool... somewhere. I've never seen it.
We had staff picture taken for the grad album this morning but I totally forgot. D: DAMMIT.
New fic to read! New Ryuusei episode to watch! More Top Model to watch! I feel so disgusted with myself for sitting on my ass and watching the entire second season of America's Best Dance Crew and half of the eighth cycle of Top Model. GOD.
