WIN.  OMG I peed my pants so hard.  I guess I'm not the only one with dirty Asian-pop secrets.  Haha.

I am totally not eating dinner because I don't want to do the dishes that have been sitting in my sink since before I left for Nagano.  I ate a box of cookies instead.  I'm gross.  I shouldn't be surprised I got a yeast infection last week the way I eat.  Fuck.  But they need to be done...  I was going to try making kabocha croquettes or something, with chicken and my leftover miso ginger soup, but that's way too much effort than I'm willing to put out at 8:15pm.  It'll be nearly 9 by the time I get to eat.  I think I'll just heat up the kabocha and soup and call it a night (also that's fewer dishes for me to reclean).

I need to blog about Nagano.  It was amazing.  I can ski!  I thought I would be totally hopeless thinking back to my attempt at snowboarding in high school.  Sidenote: I actually found out what it was that they keep calling Sho on G no Arashi and Shukudai: 運動音痴 undou onchi literally translates to "sports" and "tone deaf", one who is tone deaf to sports: a big sports loser.  I keep trying to think of an English equivalent but I can't.  Anyway, skiing is very much like skating.  I crashed maybe a dozen times all day Sunday, and only two or three times on Monday.  My knees were giving me lots of trouble though: I don't even have a fucking cool sports-related injury to explain why I get this heinous grating feeling and pain in my kneecaps when I strain them too much.  It's happened a few times before, after climing up and down a chair or ladder repeatedly it would just swell up and hurt like a beast.  Andrew suggested I get it checked out, and I really should.  I can't be getting arthritis at 23!  And if there is no apparent cause... though I like to think "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".  It's only kind of broken...

Anyway, the scenery was amazing.  Breath-taking.  Pristine.  I can't come up with any words that aren't cliches.  I can only describe it as big.  Everything just felt big.  There was nothing but trees, mountains, and open air.  We could even see Fuji vaguely in the distance from the summit.  It's a pity my phone camera couldn't do the scenery justice, maybe I can get copies of Narushima-sensei or Arai-sensei's pictures since they had real cameras.

It's 8:23.  If I get off my ass, I could have something like dinner on the table by 9.  I really want to get the new Shukudai but the barage of uploads hasn't hit yet.  WHY?  It's Tuesday already!  I need my fix of random stupidity!

Random happy moments of the day:
  • Girls from 2-3 came to the teachers room today to ask me if earrings that were red and silver were OK.  "It's actually kind of orange, is that OK?"  They got me a birthday present!
  • I got my phone bill today.  That in itself is not happy but a) it wasn't astronomical and b) it came with Arashi spam. :D  I'm so happy to be an AU customer if I get advertisements with their happy faces on it.  I also saw a giant cut out of them in an AU shop while up in Nagano.  I briefly thought about stealing it... but I don't really have room for it and Andrew will ridicule me until I die.  I'll just have to take a picture with it.  XD
