Alright.  I know that Jboys are not aggressive when it comes to dating.  Or sex.  And that might just be the understatement of the century since... I practically threw myself at Hiroki last year and went home with him (which was a first) and while he did make the first move in bed, whiskey dick happened.  Andrew's (or Justin's?) friend said that you just have to be nothing short of a whore and just get them all worked up first so they'll go home with you because they are too chicken shit to make the first move.  I know this.

What am I going to do with a boy who (at 28) hasn't even held hands with a girl, let alone kissed one?  I told him to leave it to me to show him (*winkwinknudgenudge*) though that makes me sound kind of slutty (which I had to explain).  I said just to have confidence because that's hot.  He can ask me to do anything and I am really affectionate but I won't push him.  I don't even have that much experience!  I'm still waiting for a reply.  :/  But you know... I've kind of always wanted to be the one in charge and have my way with a guy. >D

It's all the gays I know and fucking sex classes I've taken and Savage Love I read.

His response: 凄い!初めて知った!!とても勉強になる。ありがとう♥ うん、へザーはとても優しい So, I'm falling for you rapidly, I think ♥♥ [Wow! I never knew that!!  I really learned something.  Thanks ♥  You so sweet]
At least he doesn't think I'm a slut. :D

(hope you don't mind me stalking you like a creep with too much free time butting in. random "day in the life in japan" posts are so much more interesting than textbook knowledge.)

who (at 28) hasn't even held hands with a girl

i'm pretty much on the other side of the world, but the japanese men i do know on-line are pretty much all like that. i wondered if it was an ~otaku~ thing, but... apparently not? omg, one of them actually asked me how is it that i am not married and yet not a virgin, kind of implying "are you a prostitute or something?" i tried to explain to him that in europe, it's pretty normal above 16 to have an active sex life... meanwhile probably scaring him for life. xD;

I've kind of always wanted to be the one in charge and have my way with a guy. >D

fun times, fun times. DoS-sama would approve. :Dv

Man, I don't mind ecreeping at all! I love your work, BTW. :D

Yeah... I remember trying to explain that to a friend of mine here or some guy who was talking to me online. Like, "Ugh I haven't had sex in over a year!" but I haven't been in a relationship (that counts) in ever. He was very confused. Yes... I haven't told this boy that much yet but I think maybe he could guess. He's okay with the tattoo thing and seems to think the world of me already. You should read the other post about him. Let's be friends! :D

A day in the life of Japan is totally way more interesting. I am going to write a book about it one day. I swear.

heeeh, thank you!

awww, he seems awfully cute, in that strange japanese way. seriously, japanese guys are gorgeous and amazing but i have a hard time seeing myself with one. differences in priorities and values don't really matter when i'm oogling them on youtube, but in a relationship... xD;

you totally should! i know three people who currently teach there (like you, i assume), but it's always nice to see things from another point of view. there's this little book, barely known even in my country, written by a married couple who moved from here to japan with their kids because some tokyo university invited the guy as a guest professor. it's pretty awesome to see how they, as non-japanese speaking europeans, were treated in work, in the apartment building, in the kids' new school... somehow it says a lot more to me about japan than what my friends learn in uni classes.

What's the name of that book? I would totally want to read it.

Yeah, I want to write about doing the "teach English in Japan/Asia" thing since everyone knows someone who's done it but doesn't really have much concrete info on their experiences or how to even go about doing it. And mine was quite a rocky exception. I think it would be a good read. I just need to start writing it... sooner rather than later, while the memories are still fresh. Thank god for blogs where I kept record of all the bullshit. :D

Yeah... I will keep people informed about the new boy. Hopefully things go well~ First relationship! HAHA. Well, we'll see about that.

there isn't an english translation. ): pity, because it's a good read, not to mention it's by a man and a woman so it's definitely wider than anything one person could write.

i've heard so many versions of the same story. in the end, i think some of it is pure luck (i.e. it helps if your neighbors and co-workers aren't bitches) but a lot of it depends on the individual. those who expected the entirety of japan to speak english for them didn't last long. but in my opinion, that could be said about most central and eastern european countries as well. you don't hear about the racism and whatnot going on here simply because no one comes here to teach/work etc., but in my experience, europe isn't any more accepting than the far east. less, if anything, since we don't even "invite" foreigners the way japan does.

GOOD LUCK! :D my personal record is ~4 months. *dies* can't say i'm much more experienced in The Relationship thing.

Too true. I was actually surprised at the amount of English (and other languages) there is around here, but then again, I live basically in Tokyo. The boonies isn't nearly so forgiving. It's kind of divided between the people who fall over themselves to talk to you and practice their English (YES it's happened to me) and others who don't even fucking try to give you a hand if you clearly don't understand what they are saying.

I've heard that people in France get really mean if you try to talk English with them. If you try French but suck, they'll be nice to you but if you just go for English they'll tell you to shove it in not so many words. But I've never been to Europe so I don't know. XD

you don't teach outside of school? i know a girl who made a little fortune by having hour-long convos with adults who wanted to improve their english.

the french hate america (like the rest of the world, only a little bit more) and have a tendency to assume you're american if you don't speak with a british accent. but then the french hate everyone else, so i'm not sure it can be called racism at all. xD; they don't particularly care about your skin color or the language you speak if it's not french.

the japanese at least study english in school! eastern europe is a mess since teaching foreign languages in school has only become a priority in recent years, with the EU and all. but since most eastern countries used to belong to the Soviet Union until ~20 years ago, everyone above 30 studied a little russian in school and nothing else -> hence we don't have capable foreign language teachers. maybe in german (it comes in handy since we get most of our tourists from there), but certainly not in english. about 80% of my english is, sadly, self-taught. i can't even begin to imagine how hard it must be for the chinese immigrants. they might speak some english, but no one else does, so they have to learn a whole new language basically all on their own while working.

I only teach one boy outside school cuz my job rapes me of my energy. :/ I'm trying to pick up a few more students but yea.. unless you have a regular supply of (a lot of) students, you don't really make money. It's hard. And my job pays well enough that I don't have to. It's good for a bit extra spending money though.

Well, yes they study English at school but only the kids who go study more English st juku (and even then) or who actually like English are any good. But, it's better than nothing I suppose? But one of the teachers at my school is the same age as me and he can't hardly remember anything from school. But then again, I learned Chinese for 12 years, until my second year of uni, and in just 3 years I have forgotten sooo much because I never use it. Yes, they learn it but they don't make the efforts to keep it. :(

teaching is hard. :/ i used to tutor here and there, not even for money, but ugh. i don't have the sort of patience teaching requires. i can explain something maybe three times before proceeding to shriek in frustration/tell the person they are not worth my time and effort/stare at them in an 'ARE YOU REALLY THIS STUPID OR ARE YOU JUST TRYING TO PISS ME OFF' sort of way. you have all my respect. orz

it's hard without actually using the language as you learn, yeah. i used to study spanish, but now i only remember the most basic phrases and numbers. then again, who has the time or energy to spend hours with reading/listening on a daily basis? i probably wouldn't speak any english if i'd been any good at math or science in school. :D;

:D I'm glad you like it. Am I really that BNF? I didn't think so! I always kind of wanted to be but I'm just happy enough being under the radar -- less wank. XD But srsly, that makes me really happy to know I am known even a little bit. Makes me want to go out and write and post something!

Srsly, English isn't your first language? It's really good for being self-taught. :) Where are you from, might I ask?

as far as i can tell, anyway. ;D ugh, i'm somewhat known in another fandom, which is why i decided to make another writing journal for my arashi fic. (that, and also because i once publicly swore to never rape them with my crack fic. obviously, i am a weak human being. u_u) it's so... retarded that some of my closest lj friends didn't dare to approach me for months because "omg you looked so bnf" :/ and, yeah. the wank. once you start a bigger 'project', there will always be people who get a kick out of bashing it in anon memes. i don't get why can't fanfic just be fun. u_u

thank you~ i'm hungarian like every decent vampire in fiction history ;Dv

i don't even care anymore. it's not like i get anything out of this besides the pleasure of making a few people happy the way my favorite authors make me happy. the fact that not every fanfic author wants to get published seems to be incomprehensible to some. arashi fandom looks rather wank-free, though. or at least i haven't seen or xperienced any bashing so far. the rainbow gay love gets to everyone. :,D

ew, author's block is the worst. what are you writing~?

I've not seen any wank of note either. Thankfully. :)

I'm writing my fic for [livejournal.com profile] je_holiday and kdfjadsfkj I think I'm burned myself out. I don't know if this dialogue is working. It seems too emo. :/

Mmm I think I fixed it? Good enough for tonight. Sleepy!

i finally figured out Mrs Aiba, so there might be kid!fic later on today/tomorrow if i fail that hard. i have the feeling Mrs Ohno's gonna be a turn-off. ^^;

Indeeed. Hopefully I have already hooked him so that he doesn't get scared off. I had a dream last night that we were cuddling and then I just sat up and said, "I want to have sex with you". Point blank, straight face. But then I woke up. Yeah... BUT! This might be my chance to go see what a love hotel is like. xD

Wow, I feel like me eyes have been opened. I had this silly misconception that from an-an and those kind of naked pics from some artists, Japanese culture would be more receptive as for sex is concerned. But you proved me wrong.
I've kind of always wanted to be the one in charge and have my way with a guy. >D
Go you! I hope you continue keeping us posted about this mysterious guy. And the way you talk about him almost sound like Ohno lol.
