I want to read the news
Dec. 10th, 2008 09:21 amBut its fucking boring. All I see is rambling about Canadian politics and
coalitions and I don't understand what half of it means (nor do I really
give a crap... politics is a foreign language to me) but it seems to be the
only thing the Globe & Mail has to print these days.
I have a feeling I will be teaching a class truly solo today. I think Jun
is off? I haven't seen him today and his computer is not on his desk which
usually means he's gone. He was wearing a mask the last few days so maybe
he's off sick. And so he should. I approve of people taking sick leave:
it's their right. He's supposed to be with me for 2-2 but I should be
okay. They're a group that have at least a little yaru ki (willingness to
do) so it shouldn't be terribly painful. It would be just like having any
of the other teachers who don't speak English there. The most they do is
police the room and wake students up and point out what they are supposed to
be working on.
I am going to upgrade to Firefox 3. It's been crashing a lot at home so
I'll test it at work and see how it goes.
