So I was all gung ho for my two lessons today, but it got cut down to one.  I just finished trying to teach articles to one of the 2nd year classes... I think they sort of got it.  I hope they did.   The first rule is really easy to understand so I think that will help them at least, but the second and third might have been a bit much.  But it makes me feel like I'm actually being given the reins a little bit, being able to suggest things that need to be addressed (ie articles).  They teach all other stupidly technical aspects of English grammar but overlook this small, but important, point.  If I'm here next year, I'll definitely make sure they deal with it right off the bat.

I've been getting glowing praise for my Ohmiya fic!  That makes me so happy, I'm grinning stupidly at my computer screen in the staff room right now.  I'm definitely feeling more compelled to write after getting high praises.  I have been making a habit of posting comments on most of the stuff I read, so it must be good karma.  Maybe I will start writing the sequel/revenge part now.  If my growling stomach doesn't distract me too much.

Everyone at work is sick, and now I've caught it too.  Fuck.  I just got healthy.  At least it's only the sniffles and nothing worse.
