Jul. 2nd, 2008 07:15 pmSuccess! I am now legally allowed to stay in Japan for another 3 years. Huzzah! Bring out the parade of pretty boys. It was pretty painless; I took a different route to Chiba Minato this time which takes the same amount of time with 1 less transfer, although its a bit more expensive. But I got there at 1:30 and was out by 2. There were 8 people ahead of me but half of them weren't there and it doesn't take that long to put a sticker in a passport.
Afterwards I met Nikki for coffee and we caught up but it was only for an hour or so because she had to go back to work. She and Amanda are climbing Mt Fuji this weekend. I hope they have a good time! I'm thinking about doing it but... the preperation involved and everything I've read just scares me out of wanting to do it. I don't have a death wish just yet.

tohshimari, my darling, are you ready to give me some pearls of wisdom yet? I know where I want to take it so it shouldn't be that long coming once I get a chance to sit down and write. I have 3 classes tomorrow only but I also have to figure out what I'm going to do for the 5th graders tomorrow. I wonder... I want to do the same thing as I did last week but it was too hard for them. How can I make it easier? I need to think about it.
I got some reading done on my little jouney today and didn't feel sick on the train for once. I made a fair dent in Forbidden Colors. I've got about 150 pages left? I want to finish the fucking thing so I can sell it. Ugh... Japanese literature is not my friend. I should have learned that in ENGL490. Shit.
Ugh... suddenly I feel sick and dizzy. I should do the dishes (no, I haven't learned my lesson yet) and get some rice on and finish the last of my curry. And should probably make miso soup with that tofu before it decides to go off if it hasn't already. The date was the 30th but I'm sure it's still fine.
EDIT: OMG. I just realized... I might miss the first episode of Maou. D: I have a 飲み会 with work people from 7-9:30pm on Friday but I don't know if I'll be able to escape and race home before 10pm. ... Not like I am going to be able to understand much anyway but I want to be able to say I watched it real time on TV. DDD:
