Departure Date

So, this has come a little bit late; I got an email from Nova with my departure date the morning after my huge ranty email/post.  I fly out the morning (early as hell) of July 31st.  That's like 5 WEEKS AWAY!!  Holy crap.  That's scary.  I fly into Narita at 2pm the following day, but I still don't know exactly where I'll be living.  I need to confirm and pay for my ticket I think to make sure I'm actually going before they slot me in somewhere.  Eee!  It's really starting to snow ball now.  I got my passport on Monday, and they said 3.5 weeks.  So, hopefully that's a high estimate and it comes sooner, because I don't know when my COE is coming or how long I'll have to get my visa before it expires.  And if I don't have my passport at the time, then I'm kind of fucked.  So now I really need to start packing it in and sorting through my life and decide what I can bring and what I need to leave behind. :( 

I was supposed to go paint the Reid's deck today, but the weather doesn't look cooperative.  It's kind of damp here, so who knows what its like out there.  I "forgot" to call them last night and they haven't called me yet today (granted, its not even 10am yet).  We'll see how it goes.  Personally, I would rather just stay home and veg because I'm fucking tired since it feels like I haven't had a day off in 2 weeks.
