Ohmiya

Went to Omiya with Justin on Monday.  Just for shits and I wanted to go and take a picture of the sign secretly.  Actually on the ride out there, there's a stop on the Tobu Noda line called Minami Sakurai.  I had a moment. 

We just farted around Omiya for the afternoon, went to the park and a shrine and had sushi for dinner.  It was good.  Took loads of stupid pictures.  :D  Mine are here and Justin's are here.  I tried to take artsy pictures but failed.  Justin took more pictures of the landscape and stuff.  Also a lot of himself.  Haha.  I'd like to go back when the cherry trees are in full bloom.  It's still a couple weeks too early.  I wonder if Yoyogi is the same, full of cherry trees.  Some of the trees around here are blooming but there were only a few in Omiya Park.  Andrew and I are going to a hanami in Nagoya with Yvonne on Saturday but I want to have one here with all the gays.  That would be too much fun.  I wish the weather hadn't been so blah when we went to Omiya, my camera doesn't take very good pictures when it's not sunny.  It seems like everytime I go be touristy (the Palace, Nikko) the weather is shit!  What's up with that?  I hope Nagoya will be better. 

The weather is nice and sunny today.  And I'm spending it inside watching Goong.  I finally got around to downloading and watching it.  So far it's good!  The lead guy who plays the prince is hotter in photos and is kind of a jerk.  He's cousin is hot though.  This will keep me busy for a while, since there are 24 episodes.  I just hope there is room on my harddrive for all of it.  I purged some video files yesterday - got rid of a bunch of Shukudai that weren't that exciting.  I think I pared down to about half.  There is still WAY too much on my computer. 

Andrew says he has gossip but won't tell me until we meet in person.  I asked him to come over and I'll cook dinner, since I went grocery shopping yesterday.  I have to go teach Keigo and won't get back til around 7 so I don't know if he wants to come and entertain himself while I'm out or just come later.  I'm betting he'll choose the latter.  I don't want to go out because I'm lazy, I should clean, and Yuka is coming from Osaka tomorrow and I'm meeting her in Tokyo for lunch.  Ahh!  I can't wait.  It's been... 2 years since she was in Canada and I saw her last.
