Sho-chan cut his hair!  It's not eating his face anymore.  Though, the fun pseudo-redlights are gone, but its good.  It's similar to his post-Yamada Taro Monogatari cut, but not helmet-like.  Very styley.  Approved.  The grey suit is also approved.  What is not approved though is the fucking with the schedule.  The only reason I'm not superbly pissed off is because it's Showa Day tomorrow, and therefore a holiday!  And I fully plan on sleeping in as long as my body needs.  Hopefully this cold won't become anything serious.  Andrew asked me to hang out tomorrow so we're going to grab dinner in Ueno or something.  I'm not up for Shinjuku or Shibuya.  Although, the way I'm feeling now, it's probably going to be worse.

Wee Momojun is on News Zero for his LA premiere.  I wonder if they'll show a clip of his "English".

Oh.

My.

God.

He said 'srilling'.  If you have to look like you're trying to remember your lines, that's fine.  But at least get 'th' right.  Delivery was faily smooth.  Now.  But... sigh.  At least he memorized this one, unlike in Taiwan.  I want to see proof of his "English proficiency" he's apparently studying for.

The theme song of News Zero needs to die.  Time to watch Shukudai-kun!

oh i got excited over Sho's hair too!!! I watched it through keyhole TV which is such a pain coz I have to keep disconnect/reconnect just so my screen didnt freeze and did not miss any important action, such as Sho's and Jun's hotness. Anyhoo, it was worth wasting my time doing so. I didnt quite catch what Jun said but i think he probably practised that all day all night - i dun blame him, speaking english in front of natives is such a pain (I should have known best since I am Thai and english isnt my mother tongue) so good for him anyway.

I caught a bit of News Zero this morning before I had to go to school. Yay new hair. ♥ So I did catch a bit of Sho on there, but I only had a couple of minutes here and there. At what point did they show MatsuJun? ~Beginning/middle/end? I really wanted to see something about that, but I guess I missed it. Mehhhh. Hopefully someone will upload something about it soon, because I could've gone if it weren't for friggin' school. I'm sure that later on this week people will be like oh Starr, good job on your test/speech/religion project. And I'll be like ahhhhhh yeah, great, thanks. Did any of this come with MatsuJun speaking english? Okay, I didn't think so. Be quiet.

How sad is that that while I am dying to see this movie because I think it'll be really good and all, another one of my first thoughts was ...MatsuJun's coming to America~ ... Wonder if he'll have to make an introduction or something in english because if so, I'm going.

...It's borderline on addiction. But not quite, because the only type of english I'm addicted to is Aiba english. Omigosh, now if Aiba had been the one coming to California for ... any reason really, I would be failing subjects left and right because I would've gone fershure. Plus, he's generally bubbly and adorable. ^_^

Sho's hair --> News Zero --> MatsuJun --> English --> Aiba fangirling?

...-shrug-

Tee hee! Love the new hair. I almost wish I had a tv feed through my computer so I could have capped it because it was so fine. Oh well. Pictures will come eventually. I'm scared to look at the comms today because I bet that'll be the topic of the day.

The spot about MJ was at the very end. It was just "Yay he went to the premiere in LA" and showed a clip of his introduction. He said something like "It's great to be here, now. I hope you enjoy the next 2 hours, it's going to be srilling." Not terrible, but there was some quite heavy Japanese accent happening at sometimes.

I want to see the movie too~ I didn't even know that whats his face C3P0 was in it. Which is irrelevent except for the fact that it means that the DVD WILL HAVE ENGLISH SUBS! More and more Japanese DVDs are coming out with English subs here, which is good for me. Kiiroi Namida did! Well, one of the versions. Not the one at my fucking video store, but one of them. HAH.

I agree, Aiba english = win. It's kind of funny because his English is supposedly relatively good, but you'd never know it.

OMGGG MY SINUSES ARE EXPLODINGGGgg. How did I get sickkkk.....

Aww, must've left just before they that bit came on, then.

Is that guy in it? All I heard was that the movie ws partially influenced by Star Wars, and ... erm, that's as far as I ever heard, so ... he was just there.

As for subs, I read in one of the reviews posted by someone that the movie was subbed when they watched it (which I had been wondering, because a bunch of people posted about it, but no one mentioned ... like, if it was subbed or if they were just supposed to sit there and guess, which ... I've done many times before, but it's nice to not have to). Also, it's gonna be shown outside of Japan. Currently in negotiations to see if they're gonna show it in the US.

...Where did I get any of this information? I can't remember what came from which posts, and I'm too lazy to check, heh.

...Deal or No Deal is on right now. I personally don't care for the show, but it's like, a Star Wars edition. They've got this guy dressed up as Darth Vader and stuff there. And it made me smile, thinking of Star Wars --> 3CPO guy --> movie premiere.

I remember one of the first things I ever read about Aiba, right when I was just starting to get into Arashi, was that he was fluent in English. And I was like oh sweet. And then a bit after that I saw some clips from him at the zoo and I was just like ........k. ;; But his english is way better than my Japanese, I'm sure.

Nuuuu, being sick sucks. I have really bad sinus problems. I'm disease on legs 'cause something's always wrong with me ... well, a lot of things are wrong with me, but I also meant that I'm almost always sick in some way or other. Meh, stupid weak immune system. Hope you feel better!

I'm convinced it's the combo of the change in seasons plus the going back to work where all the kids are dirty and don't have good hygiene, all all children do. Oh well... hopefully it'll be better by tomorrow. It's just a head cold, so I'm stuffed up to the high heavens but feel find otherwise.

Im not sure exactly where Anthony Daniels comes into everythign either... inspired by SW? How? It's a freaking Kurosawa samurai movie remake. I will definitely have to watch it then. :D And I only JUST realized that the girl in it is Masami Nagasawa or whatever or name is and I like her. :D

Actually, friend of mine knows someone who went to Aiba's parent's restaurant and talked to him on the phone? Or heard about it from someone or something and he's fairly fluent (as far as Japanese people go, I suppose) in English. But it's still so fun to watch him fail.

I'm watching Zettai Kareshi and Last Friends now. Good series on this season! So far...

Yeah, teachers, especially working with younger kids, contract all sorts of different types of the flu and colds and stuff, huh? One thing I'm not looking forward to when I eventually become one. I'm sickly enough as it is.

I can't quite fit that one together, either. I've just heard a bunch of people say it was an influence, so I'm like ...k, whatever. He's apparently really funny, though, I heard a lot of people comment on that.

I saw this one clip on youtube a while back, and also read this girl's... was it a post on LJ, or a forum, or what? I can't remember. Who went to that restaurant, and talked to Aiba's mum and got given some stuff from her, but I've never heard of anyone getting to talk to Aiba on the phone. Woah, cool.

I watched the first episode of Zettai Kareshi. I really liked it, despite the changes they made (I really liked the manga, but hated the ending, so I wasn't sure if I was going to watch it or not, but it looks like it'll be a really good show). I'm so behind on everything, but I plan to watch Last Friends as well. Gotta find time to get around to that.

I have to say, we are having quite the long comment conversation here. I approve.

Yes, ill from the childrens. They aren't even that young either: 13-16ish. They should know better. But it comes with the territory, this is true.

I so don't read manga... it takes me like hours to read one volume in my ghetto Japanese (and I miss half the stuff cuz I don't bother looking up the kanji) and it hurts to read scanlated stuff on the computer. XD So I don't even know when stuff comes from manga (ie HYD though I did buy the first volume to read. 1 out of 36. *___*). I liked ZK so far! The main actress is soo cute and I likes Hiro Mizushima from HanaKimi. :D LF is.. WOAH INTENSE. I am surprised to see them dealing with those issues in a drama in Japan. Esp since DV is so prevalent here.

Hahaha I came across your journal randomly, and this entry seriously made me laugh out loud. I'm a terrible Arashi fan though - or rather, I'm angsting that Jun decided to show his face on the west coast again this year (I live in New York), so I've avoided all reports of his movie premiere out of sheer jealousy and spite. Where can I see this "srilling" appearance?

(I also hope you don't mind if I add ya :X)

By all means, do! I have had a sudden increase in stalkers lately, it's kind of fun. But I like the ones who talk to me better. XD

Um... it's posted on a_ra_shi I'm sure. The last 53 posts have been about the fucking USC premiere. YES I want to see the movie and it would have been cool to go (I know I would have if I could... no I wouldn't, I'm too lazy) but I don't need to hear about it a million times. /rant. XD But you better BELIEVE I'm posting about my concert experience in May.

Bah - I'm not even a member of [livejournal.com profile] a_ra_shi. Might have to join just to look for it and then promptly leave. I can't handle Arashi fans all the time :X :X

Oy. I just saw the video. LORD.

*snort* I had to watch it four times before I even heard the "srilling" :X (He looks good though :O) and I definitely thought I heard "tiger role in the movie" - OHH JUNN.

Yes... it wasn't as flooring as everyone made it out to be. FUCK he's actually a GOOD actor, he should be able to memorize 4 lines. And English isn't (or shouldn't) be a completely foreign language, having gone through the Japanese school system. But, please.
