Well, the fact of the matter is I can't afford to go to the stadium show. If tickets were only 5,000 yen, like they were last time, maybe. But 7,000 is a lot and I'm going to Singapore. I would love to go to Tokyo Dome. It's close to home and I sure that it would just be fantastic show. Lydia will also probably be here! I wouldn't mind go to Nagoya. I've been there once, I know my way arond and what's the best way to get there and back. Tokyo is the most balloted venue, I think so I think there's a better shot at winning Nagoya, but it's the last venue. And the last shows are always the best.

I've got til the end of July to figure this out. I think I have more friends who want to go than tickets available. And I wouldn't want people to make plans to come all the way here from overseas especially for the concert and then have no tickets.

Now that it's official, I really want to go!

So, if I'm understanding this correctly, you can ballot for both a stadium AND a dome show? which increases the chances of "winning" tickets to at least ONE show? If money is the issue for you, I can spare the ~$20 and pay the difference for you. I'm not assuming that you should include me, because you have many friends in the same position, but I have no qualms about giving an extra $20 to the cause for you to ballot for both. It can't be more money than my plans to scalp if I have no other choices.

I suppose balloting won't hurt. If I don't win, I just get my money back, I suppose. Maybe Alex will come over for that too. :D Although, if it's like last time, you pay first and then get your money back later. -_-

The stupid thing is... you won't know if you win the stadium tickets until after the other ballot is due, I think. They're just trying to suck everyone of all their money!

Yeah, I know that money is tighter for you at the moment. Well, let me know if I can help? I should be able to transfer money by using PayPal or something similar.

We'll work it out. Paypal goes to my Cdn account and it's a pain to get to it, but I could use the money to pay off the airline ticket on my credit card. XD

Well, I can count you and me and Alex (if she gets back to me). That's three~ Only gotta put down 21,500 yen up front!

By golly, when you add up the price of all those tickets, it's quite a nasty sum. Just keep me posted :D

Any idea when they'll announce the balloting results? -_-;

Re: other comment
If only ... but there isn't anything better (like better seats) for members who have been in the fan club longer, is there? If there isn't, then it might be too much to hope that they might "compensate" fan club members somehow. But there should be many, many tickets available for all of these shows. Let's stay positive!

We're lead to believe it's completely random but I'm sure there is some kind of favouritism involved... it IS Japan after all, home of Lifetime Employment. Fingers crossed yo!

Well, If ballots are due in for Stadium July 13, I think they'll announce it by the end of July? Tickets will be sent mid August. Maybe we will know by the time the other ballot is due. That would only make sense, so that people don't need to ballot twice (though I'm sure that won't stop anyone). But Japan doesn't do things logically, we know this.

Actually, the only show I could possibly make it for is the Stadium shows. The other ones are too late for me to leave for visa purposes, and the Stadium shows are EXACTLY when I need to leave. Like, my sixty days is up ON the 28th.

So. That's my situation. *GRINS IN YOUR GENERAL DIRECTION*

Oh so you have to leave China before the 28th? Are you going to have to leave every 3 months? Or what the fuck?

Just let me know which day is good for you and I'll get on it.

Yeah, well I got a six-month visa with multiple entries. Each entry can only last up to sixty days, though. So because I'm going to be entering China on the 28th (or 29th, I'm not sure if they'll count the entry to Macau/HK....), the latest I can leave China again is August 27th. Then my next entry will count 60 days from whenever I re-enter China. If that makes sense. ANYWAY, the Stadium shows are perfectly timed. The Tokyo Dome ones MIGHT be, but I'm not sure yet. Let me think about it once I'm back in China and have my brain back there. But the Stadium ones would be amazing :/

Well, don't worry. I'll try for the middle show. Last show will be more popular I think. That's the 29th. At least you'll have a place to crash!

So you have to leave China every 60 days? I don't get it. :/ Or you have to stay in for 2 months before you can leave again?

No, the idea is I can only stay in the country for 60 days at a time, even though the visa lasts for 6 months. Any visa longer than 3 months is arranged this way though. My housemate's firt visa was in increments of 30 days, gross. Thankfully "leaving the country" includes HK.

That kind of seems better than Japan where you aren't ALLOWED to leave unless you pay money to get a stupid stamp in your passport. :/

ew, that's annoying! Also thankfully I checked and Australians don't need to get a visa for trips to japan for less than 90 days. brilliant!
