Aso is out. The Liberal Democratic Party is out.

I don't really know what the difference between the "Liberal" Democratic Party and the Democratic Party of Japan is, but it's a change from the the last few decades of power so there should be some changes.

Holy shit.

I'm just seeing the votes now, the LDP has 93 seats while the DPJ has 283 so far! And Sho-chan looks hot despite having held a concert tonight. I hope he has a day off tomorrow. I wonder which way he voted (cuz you know he did). I wonder if the rest of Arashi voted. Apparently, this year was expected to have the highest reported voter turn-out. I wonder when this will be over; this news coverage has been going on since 9pm. When will they all get to go home?

I finally caught up with my RL Sho-chan and his girlfriend and had dinner and went to some karaoke. Good times! His gf is such a cutie. She wants to meet up once a month (I guess she likes me that much), but I'll wait for her to contact me. She's a hair stylist so maybe I can get her to do my hair from now on?

Time to sleep! Stupid typhoon looks like it's going to ruin my plans for tmrw.

Yeah I'm watched it on good ol' NHK (accoding to NHK the coverage will go on till 2 am, although I don't think there will be much critical change from here on in.)

I had exactly the same thought ... I wondered if too which way he voted. I think the rest ought to have voted too ... hmm I dunno I can actually see Aiba voting, and Jun too really.

Would it be too harsh to say that Ohno looks like someone who might not vote, much as I love him to pieces. And Nino too, although for different reasons maybe. Heh!

Have a good sleep you! ^_^

Mm actually, I think Aiba would and Jun definitely would. As far as I know, the LDP and the JDP are the same in all but name but any change is good. And Aso is an asshat so we'll all be glad to get rid of him. I'm pretty much sealed at this point, there's no way thy can make up the 180 seat difference.

Nino and Ohno just scream "poltically indifferent" to me which would be why they don't vote. Though I'm indifferent too but I still make sure I excerise my right to vote when I can.

I will try to sleep soon! Gonna take a shower first.

The basic rule of thumb is that the Liberal Democratic Party isn't liberal at all. Short version of a long story: the construction sector of the economy and senior citizens own the party, so to speak, so you can probably guess what the LDP's priorities are. I don't know much about the Democratic Party, but hopefully they're actually liberal, cause Japan is in need of some serious reform.

I know someone told me about them before and that rings some bells. But no matter what, the LDP has fucking been in power for too damn long. We need some change!

I concur in full and without reservation. I'm glad to see the Japanese public finally standing up and taking part in their political system.
