And then I realized, I'm just slutty.

We just had another earthquake.  Not as scary this time, but I am also up and awake this time.  It was right here in Chiba-ken but only a 4.5.  The one the other night was 6.8.

Watching the new KAT-TUN PV.  I have so many snarky comments.  The song is actually... good?  Well, it's KAT-TUN so I wouldn't go that far but its definitely catchy.  The video has decent dancing!  Actually, I think Koki probably pwns they all because he looks like he was holding back.  Kind of like Leader when Arashi perform.  The costumes... rivaled the atrocities of the Time con.  What the hell is with Kame and the rolled up pants and spats look?  You are not fucking Oliver Twist.  Jin had brain extentions in a pony tail.  Enough said.  Those other guys.. at least Junno looks like a Japanese person again with his hair cut and colour, and might even pass for straight.

I need coffee.  Maybe then I wouldn't be so amazed by the shaking.  Although since we don't have earthquakes in Canada (the kids were shocked to hear that yesterday), I don't think I'll ever stop being amazed/scared.

Just watched Himistu and t'was another great episode.  My favourite part was when Sho nailed Ohno in the shoulder.  I LOVED IT.  That's my first taste of his infamous temper.  And it wasn't staged either!  You could hear the impact.  Mmm manly and straight.  I love to see a little violence now and then.  And Ohno's faces... it's fun to watch just for those, if nothing else.  But... the hair... It still hasn't grown on me.  If It was a wee bit shorter, maybe it wouldn't bug me so.  It's almost like he's got wings sprouting in th back.  Sho-chan's secret was that he can't do cartwheels.  Although, honey, no one can do cartwheels in those pants.  Tight pants are meant for standing around looking smoking hot, not athletics.  So don't feel so bad.  And Nino!  That mouth of yours got you in trouble finally!  No Big Storm for you.  >>D

EDIT: I forgot about this until I was in bed but couldn't be stuffed to turn on my computer and add it.  The Meteorologial University from Nino's segment -- I FUCKING WALK PAST THAT SHIT EVERRRRYDAY on my way to work.  It's like 10 mins walk from my houuuuse.  XD  I get really giddy when I see things I know/live near on TV. 

I was going to post a "review" of the new arubamu but... I got distracted by lots of hot gyrating J-rockers thanks to sanctified_x.  Cheers, lady!   I do still want to because I have some how gotten it into my head from my recent spell of friending people that there are people out there who give a shit about what I say.  I'm no Perez Hilton or anything, nobody checks my blog 53 times a day to see if I've updated (sob sob) but I want to not be a complete fangirl and actually have something constructive and intelligent to say about it.  Maybe the break from academia is starting to get to me, finally.  Actually, I think it would just help me learn the songs and which is which in prep for the concert.  Not that it'll be hard to recognize/half-sing-a-long with the whole album by May 31st.  I've already listened to the whole thing 3 times today.  And the 微妙 songs are starting to grow on me.  Yay yay!

I think I'm going to try and make Sirius my new 十八番. ♥  Or Take me faraway which I can't stop listening to.  Need lyrics nao.

I'm forever grateful that Jun left those fugly glasses at home today, but I have a feeling they make a come-back next week.  Why can't you wear these??




You look totally foxy and devilishly handsome (dare I say!) in the red candy frames.  If only you weren't suffering through lunch made by Aiba and had a happy expression on your face, but I can't have everything I want.  XD  That and I didn't look that hard for a good screen cap either.  I just wanted to prove a point. 

Off to elementary for the first time this year tomorrow!  I hope to god they don't expect me to do any teaching... I am not prepared!  Although all the goodies from the Embassy came in the mail today so I can give them that to look at.  Or something.  I'll make them play Duck, Duck, Goose for the entire class or something.

I went to Funabashi today to meet up with Leigh, who I haven't seen since our Abiko "Lake" party, back in October.  It was nice to see someone different for a change and not have every story start with, "So this one night we were at (random club name here) and were so fucked up..."  She looked great, she's lost a ton of weight since I last saw her.  I wish it were that easy for me... but alas.  I have lost some in the last nearly nine months, but not twenty kilos.  Good for her.  Two thumbs up.  We met up for coffee/lunch and talked for a few hours.  It's too bad she lives so far away; Goi is like an hour south from here or more and then some to her house.  She's starting a new ALT job next week so she's nervous but she'll do fine.  I should try making an effort to see her more.  Now that she'll have a similar schedule, it should be easier.

I've been watching nothing but Arashi videos lately.  That's nothing new, but it seems more so when there are twenty plus video files cluttering up my desktop.  And there are some that I've filed away and haven't even watched yet.  (I haven't watched Honey & Clover 11 yet either and I've had that since the end of March...)  I've been working my way through Mago Mago Arashi episodes and I just watched the one where Jun and Aiba go to a natto shop (#38).  Jun is wearing his sexy red glasses.  He actually looks hot in those glasses, I will concede.  He doesn't look like such a duck.  I am hoping that those monstrosities he's been wearing on his face since last year are just a big fashion mistake and not his actual, wearable glasses.  They are just so fucking ugly.  Please go back to the red candy frames, Jun.  They suit you so much better. 

Tomorrow Andrew and Kazuya are coming to play in Kashiwa.  I'll take them to New Sanki so they can pick out curtains.  How domestic.  I thought they were coming Saturday but apparently not.  That's fine, I didn't have plans tomorrow anyway.  I've got Japanese class tomorrow night, which I may or may not skip.  Again.  Bad Heather, starting bad habits already. 

Wrote a Shohno fic last night.  I loved it but wish I had be able to make it go farther.  I think I'm getting in a "short piece" rut where I can't write anything longer than 600 words.  And I need to stop being disappointed when I don't get rave comments when I write minor 'ships.  People just aren't as adventerous as me, reading anything and everything as long as it doesn't make me claw my eyes out with bad writing.  But I have gotten a few regular readers who comment on everything I write. :D  That's satisfying in itself.  And I haven't gotten the wave of people signing up to my community.  Yet, anyway. 

I want to finish this Junba fic.  (What else can I call that 'ship?  I hate that name.)  I should muscle through and get 'er done tonight.  I think I may have run out of ideas for things to write.  Maybe I'll write a new porn.  Some Sakuraiba porn?!

EDIT: It just occured to me that this journal is now 2 years old.  Well, as of the 11th of April, but I didn't actually start writing in it until the 21st a year later.  How time flies.
