What it was about Jun's hair (which I'm liking-- it's Bambino Jr!) that was bothering me:

He's doing the Yamapi Fringe.  That fucking little front piece that falls across his nose that bugged me so much.  I think Yamapi looks good all the time (even with the perm or whatever he has going on these days) but that fucking was like "I WANT TO CUT IT OFFF".  Jun's isn't nearly that bad but that's what it is.  I totally hotlinked from Yuckie; so shoot me.  She said "don't reupload".  So I didn't.  Just think of this as "free advertising".

Mmmm I'm totally not sleepy.  I should get up at 8 tomorrow so I can be lazy and eat something for breakfast and do my hair and get pretty for the long day.  I've got to be in Azabu Juban at 11am to sign my new contract and that shit is going to take like an hour because stupid boss is probably going to wax poetic about what our contracts say (as if it's going to be tragically different from last year) and do paperwork etc.  I will find out for sure that I'm back at Toyoshiki (I fucking better be) and if I got a raise.  Last year they gave only a couple people raises who did good jobs.  I did a good job, but I hadn't been with them for the whole year so I didn't qualify.  Bullshit but whatever.  They don't have any excuses this year and I had perfect attendance and my school even requested for me personally to come back.  That's got to count for something.  Stupid Tatsuya hasn't even given me my fucking observation comments yet.  I'll ask for them tomorrow, I guess.

I'm meeting Taka for drinks tomorrow night somewhere in Akihabara so I'm just going to hang out in Tokyo.  Go somewhere, find a cafe and get caffeinated and read Wicked.  Andrew's free to do some filming for our CM around 430 so I'll go hang out there in the afternoon.  I don't even know when Taka will be free for drinks.  Probably around 7.  I've got to call him tomorrow.

I didn't realize (because no one tells me these things) that it was a short day at Ni Shou so my first two lessons were way over-time.  I only had 4 so I thought I would be able to ditch after lunch unless they invited me to do suji with one of the classes again but there wasn't even a 5th period!  So I got to leave at 1230.  And it was pisssssing rain.  I wore my boots thinking that I would be sneaky and not get wet but for some reason, they kick up SO much backspray and so I was wet to the back of the knees by the time I got to school.  I took the bus home and dropped off stuff and then went out again to the immigration office.  It would either have been today or next week and I figured I should just go and get 'er done.  Then I won't have to worry about it later.  Why is it that everytime I have to go to Chiba the weather is completely shit?  It's a conspiracy or something.  Anyway, I got there at 3pm and was out by 3:20!  If I had known it would have been that fast and painless, I should have fucking done it when I got my visa renewed.  But I'm stupid.  I splurged for the multi on the off chance I do have the funds to go somewhere (Singapore in September?!) so that I don't ever have to go back to that fucking hellhole again.

But there goes 7000 yen in one day so I'm going to go out this weekend except for Sunday when I have to meet Andrew in Harajuku to make Yvonne's (belated) Xmas present.

I got my results from the kanken: I passed!  I got 93%. :D  I'm proud of myself.  Maybe I'll try level 7 next... but it's more complicated with synonyms and antonyms and stuff.  I'll have to look into it.  Luckily it's 3 times a year so if I decide to pass this round, I won't have to wait that long.  Unlike the JLPT... I should decide on doing that pretty soon so I can get materials and start studying.  Even though the test isn't until December.  I say I'll start studying soon but I won't crack a book until October, I bet.

I finally got that video to upload after converting it.  Here's the school orchestra playing a Final Fantasy medly on Wednesday's assembly!

Work went by quickly.  All my kids did really well.  It's almost like they can speak English~  The last class was short because the teacher was yelling at a couple girls and didn't send anyone down to get me (but that's fine with me).  Poor Kubo-sensei... she's got laryngitis and was giving these girls hell.  :(  I wonder what they did.  Booked it out of work at 230 and got the bus and picked up my gaijin card by 315. :D  I also picked up some cream mochi to bring to Seki-sensei's house tonight.  Got my taxes done too... they really should have some information on the fucking city website about what you're supposed to bring.  I didn't know I was supposed to bring my health insurance... well, they just needed to know how much I pay a month and actually they put more than I actually would have paid for the year on my forms but whatever.  The goverment is going to pay me 230 yen back.  Yay!  I can buy almost buy two cans of coffee for that.  The guy who helped me was a dick though.  I also saw Arai-sensei there randomly. XD  He was skipping out on work too to get his taxes done.  Love it!

I should make a note of what I should bring to do my taxes next year so I don't go through this fiasco a third time.

To make things even better, I managed to get all my crap done early enough so that I could come home and relax (aka check flist) and change my clothes!  It really warmed up today and it was a sweat house inside the tax office portable.  I'm considering jumping in the shower to freshen up a bit before changing.  Then I'll take the bus back to school at 5:15 to meet the teachers.  Even if I end up leaving Seki-sensei's house around 9 I don't think I'm going to go out.  I'm too tired!

In other news.. it look like my closet barfed all over my room.  There are clothes everywhere.  I really need to pick up this weekend.  It'll have to be tomorrow afternoon when I get back from Hiroo.
